    SOSi-Vykin is currently looking for a Secret cleared Systems Administrator to join our team in Ramstein, Germany. The successful candidate will receive competitive wages, health benefits and the opportunity to join a company that still believes every employee counts.



    Support hardware, software, domains and virtualization.  As a member of the MPE ES USAFE Systems Administration Team, you will be working with multiple members of systems and network personnel around the globe, supporting information sharing with our international partners. In support of our customers, the Systems Team provides systems expertise, hardware/software installation, and network troubleshooting. 


    • Windows Server 2012 administration, Windows 10 configuration and deployment.
    • Build and maintain Active Directory Domains, Sites and Services, Forests and Trusts.
    • SolarWinds network mapping and monitoring.
    • Group Policy creation, editing, management.
    • Exchange administration.
    • Applying DISA STIGS for compliance
    • Software installation/troubleshooting.
    • VMWare vSphere Build outs of Data Centers and Single Enclaves.
    • Windows PowerShell scripting.
    • Understanding of network devices and the CLI.
    • WSUS Exports/Imports, Windows Deployment Toolkit.
    • Netapp configuration and builds, Software Defined Networking and Software Defined Data Center via VMWare NSX.
    • Administering Microsoft Certificate Authority
    • Maintain the integrity and security of servers and systems.
    • Sets up administrator and service accounts.
    • Maintains system documentation.
    • Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
    • May program in an administrative language.
    • Develops and implements testing strategies and document results.
    • Provides advice and training to end-users.
    • Participates in special projects as required.
    • Patches and updates multiple client and server operating systems to Department of Defense guidelines.
    • Troubleshoots and resolves issues with Microsoft Windows based servers and devices.
    • Develops scripts and tools to automate and improve user support activities.



    • High School Diploma with eleven (11) years of IT related experience, OR Associate's degree with seven (7) plus years of IT related experience, OR Bachelor's degree in with 5 (five) plus years of IT related experience
    • An active in-scope SECRET clearance
    • DoD 8570 IAT level II compliant
    • Must be able to obtain certification as a Technical Expert by the German Government under the Technical Expert Status Accreditation (TESA) process.

    • KMS (Key management Server) RMS (Rights management), DFS (distributed file system (multiple file shares)
    • WSUS
    • Microsoft Certificates authorities


    • MCSA or higher Microsoft certification




    Working Conditions

    The work is typically performed in an office environment, which requires normal safety precautions; work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes or equipment.  The work location is a government facility located on a military installation in Ramstein, Germany supporting a DoD customer.  The successful applicant will be working for and reporting directly to the prime contractor or the DoD customer as appropriate.
