  • Overview

    SOSi-Vykin is currently looking for a experienced TS/SCI cleared HUMINT Analysts to join our team in Bagram, Afghanistan and locations throughout the ATO.  We are a small defense contracting company that is veteran owned servicing the US Department of Defense.  The successful candidate will receive competitive wages, health plans and the opportunity to join a small company that still believes every employee counts.


    The HUMINT Analyst shall function as a part of an intelligence analytical team of military and/or DoD civilian analysts in support of USFOR-A, and Battalion CJ2 staffs' analytical requirements.

    • Responsible for researching, developing, presenting and publishing HUMINT products at a tactical and operational level, related to insurgent IED cell activities, and threats to local/regional stability as part of an overall C-IED analytical team.
    • Conduct analysis of raw and fused human intelligence and counterintelligence data of insurgents who are directly linked to the acquisition, production, transportation, emplacement and employment of IEDs.
    • Provide input to multiple government requirements and objectives, assist with analysis and production of various intelligence products, specifically focused on the C-IED mission set, and supply analytical support for senior military leaders. 
    • Attend meetings and conduct comprehensive research on complex topics independently or as a part of a larger analytical effort focusing on IED-related current events and long-term trends that could impact the supported unit’s mission.
    • Responsible for HUMINT analysis related to IED threats, counter-IED mission planning, target development, damage assessment and counter-terrorism in the AOR and Afghanistan in general.




    • A minimum of four (4) years analytical experience within DoD or equivalent government agencies required, with HUMINT experience preferred. 
    • Former MOS of 35L/M, 351L/M, 180A, 18F, 35D/35E, 1N, 35F, 350F, 18F, 35A, 34A or equivalent.
    • Proficient in the use of basic intelligence computer applications and intelligence related automation, including MS Office Product Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word) to support analytical efforts and product development.
    • Possess strong research and writing skills and be capable of effectively operating as a member of a strategic-level analytical team; accomplishing assessments of sources and their reporting through corroboration of source reporting, analytic feedback, quality assurance and developing HUMINT and intelligence products and assessments.
    • Must have an active in-scope TS/SCI clearance.
    • Recent, forward deployed experience in either IED/C-IED, CT, South West Asia regional issues, HUMINT, CI or military analysis as a HUMINT analyst.
    • Must possess a valid US passport, good for at least 18 months.
    • Must be able to pass all pre-deployment requirements including a medical, dental, psychological, background, credit, and security screens as deemed necessary to be considered deployable by the US military to enter into a hazard duty location.
    • Must be able to obtain all required immunizations deemed necessary by the contract.
    • Must be willing to deploy for up to one (1) year ($5,000.00 completion bonus).



    • College degree (Associate's or Bachelor's) or equivalent mid-level military enlisted or company grade officer experience preferred.

    Working Conditions

    The working environment can range from an office to an outdoor setting. Environmental conditions could include, extreme heat, extremely bright or inadequate lighting conditions, containments, and cramped work space. The work environment could require 50% to 100% of time spent outdoors. Job Hazards include possible exposure to high places, hazardous conditions, equipment and situations. Work attire could include specialized protective or safety attire. Physical requirements for this position include, walking, running, crouching/crawling, bending or twisting, making repetitive motions, and so on.
