    Vykin Corporation is currently looking for an experienced Secret cleared Cybersecurity IA Analyst to join our team in Stuttgart, Germany.  We are a small defense contracting company that is veteran owned and servicing the US Department of Defense.  The successful candidate will receive above average wages, medical, and vacation plans as well as the opportunity to join a small company that still believes that every employee counts.


    CITS effort provides IT transformation and innovation on a large project, with the shared objectives to sustain and optimize mission critical operations and to provide full life-cycle O&M and Engineering support to EUCOM and AFRICOM.  The Cybersecurity IA Analyst will be primarily responsible for providing services and support to ensure the confidentially, integrity and availability of accredited C4 networks.  In doing so the Cyber Security IA Analyst will implement Information Assurance (IA) / Cybersecurity strategies for the accredited C4 networks consistent with DoD and National Security Agency (NSA) guidance respectively.


    Daily responsibilities:

    • Primarily responsible for providing services and support to ensure the confidentially, integrity and availability of accredited C4 networks.

    • Conducts IA program/system security status assessments and supports the development of IA program(s) including the development of IA policy and procedures. 

    • Provides security planning for system development lifecycle.

    • Conducts system security planning and provides security documentation support.

    • Conducts qualitative/quantitative risk assessments; provides business continuity and disaster recovery planning and program support. 

    • Supports and leads the development of certification and accreditation documents and artifacts.

    • Supports personnel and physical security, information security, and environmental protection activities.

    • Tracks organizational IA compliance, ensures necessary remediation needs are communicated, tracks remediation through completion and ensures necessary IA documentation is accurate and in order.

    • Prepares for, assists with, and monitors IA assessments (network readiness assessments, DISA Security Readiness Reviews (SRR), Command Cyber Readiness Inspections, NSA Red and Blue Team assessments, vulnerability scans, certification and accreditation reviews) for USAFRICOM.

    • Develops and/or implements corrective courses of action for findings identified during these assessments.

    • Develops technical standards (SOP/TTPs, technical implementation instructions, or other required documentation) for security devices, security operations and other operations as required for Government approval.

    • Ensures all personnel granted elevated privileges or performing IA functions on systems/networks are trained and certified in accordance with the DoD Manual 8570.01M, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program and ensure compliance with CYBERCOM directives, orders and requests.



    • A current active in-scope Secret clearance, with ability to obtain TS/SCI
    • Must be able to obtain certification as a Technical Expert by the German Government under the Technical Expert Status Accreditation (TESA) process
    • DoD 8570 IAM level III compliance (e.g. CISSP, CISM, GSLC, etc)
    • Must a certification in any one of the following computing environments: Cisco, Juniper, Microsoft, VMware, RedHat, or Solaris


    Minimum Educational Requirement:

    • High School Diploma with eleven (11) years IT experience OR, Associate's degree with seven (7) plus years of experience OR, a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three (3) years of related experience


    Required Skills/Experience/Knowledge:

    • Minimum of (10) years of demonstrated Cybersecurity experience
    • Experience utilizing Remedy ticketing system
    • Strong knowledge of DoD IA and IT regulations and guidance
    • Familiar with NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF)
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
    • Willingness to work flexible hours
    • Shift work may be required
    • On Call Status may be required

     Desired Skills:

    • Experience using DISA’s Continuous Monitoring and Risk Scoring (CMRS)
    • Experience with the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)
    • Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) experience

    Working Conditions

    The work is typically performed in an office environment, which requires normal safety precautions; work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes or equipment. The work location is a government facility located on a military installation in Stuttgart, Germany supporting a DoD customer.  The successful applicant will be working for and reporting directly to the prime contractor or the DoD customer as appropriate.
