  • Overview

    Vykin Corporation is currently looking for an experienced TS/SCI cleared Cyber Network Defense Operations Analyst to join our team in Wiesbaden, Germany. We are a small defense contracting company that is veteran owned servicing the US Department of Defense.  The successful candidate will receive above average wages, medical, and vacation plans as well as the opportunity to join a small company that still believes that every employee counts.


    • Monitor, analyze, detect, and respond to cyber events and incidents. 
    • Support dynamic cyber defense and deliver operational effects, such as intrusion detection and prevention, situational awareness and data spillage. 
    • Maintain a secure cyber environment through configuration management, administration, and response actions. 
    • Analyze network defense systems such as IDS/IPS, SIEM and firewalls. 
    • Provide Computer Network Defense Service Provider (CNDSP) support.
    • Provide operation and maintenance and field support to Linux based servers.
    • Create, document and maintain network architecture (logical and physical network diagrams) of current existing networks.
    • Recommend sensor placement on networks to best monitor traffic and data flow capture.
      • Provide recommendations on where to route data
    • Test systems, networks and firewalls for vulnerabilities.
    • Supervise and manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of business systems which may be mainframe, mini, or client/server based.
    • Optimize system operation and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
    • Provide assistance to users in accessing and using business systems.
    • Coordinate efforts of regional cyber defense teams and provide timely updates to senior leaders.
    • Provide work leadership to team members.


    Minimum Educational Requirement:

    • High School Diploma with eleven (11) years of IT related experience, OR Associate's degree in with seven (7) plus years of IT related experience, OR Bachelor's degree in with 5 (five) plus years of IT related experience


    • An active in-scope TS/SCI security clearance
    • Must be DoD 8570.01 IAT level II compliant (e.g. CompTIA Security+)
    • CEH OR GCIH certification
    • CCNA or higher technical operating envoronment certification
    • Must be able to obtain certification as a Technical Expert by the German Government under the Technical Expert Status Accreditation (TESA) process


    • Bachelor's degree.

    Working Conditions

    The work is typically performed in an office environment, which requires normal safety precautions; work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes or equipment.  

    The work location is a government facility located on a military installation in Wiesbaden, Germany supporting a DoD customer.
