    Vykin Corporation is currently looking for an experienced Secret cleared Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in Stuttgart, Germany, supporting the Joint Enterprise Network (JEN).  We are a small defense contracting company that is veteran owned and servicing the US Department of Defense.  The successful candidate will receive above average wages, medical, and vacation plans as well as the opportunity to join a small company that still believes that every employee counts.


    CITS effort provides IT transformation and innovation on a large project, with the shared objectives to sustain and optimize mission critical operations and to provide full life-cycle O&M and Engineering support to EUCOM and AFRICOM.  The Cybersecurity Analyst will be primarily responsible for providing services and support to ensure the confidentially, integrity and availability of accredited C4 networks.  In doing so the Cyber Security Analyst will implement Information Assurance (IA) / Cybersecurity strategies for the accredited C4 networks consistent with DoD and National Security Agency (NSA) guidance respectively.


    Daily responsibilities:

    • Ensure the enclaves under USEUCOM purview is compliant with task orders, IAVM, STIGs, and NIST best practices.
    • Follow the established change management process to include, but not limited to, change request, incident request, APL request, cyber event tracking, PPSM changes, and policy exception
    • Prepare for and assist with CSSP Validations, DISA Security Readiness Reviews (SRR), Command Cyber Readiness Inspections, NSA Red and Blue Team assessments, vulnerability scans, certification and accreditation reviews for USEUCOM. 
    • Support Plan of Action and Milestone (POAM) activities to include validating mitigations, tracking dates on milestones, ensuring appropriate cybersecurity resources are identified in the POAM
    • Ensure that appropriate details are included in the Risk Management Framework (RMF) assessment and authorization packages
    • Develop and/or implement corrective courses of action for findings identified during these security assessments.
    • Develop technical standards (SOP/TTPs, technical implementation instructions, quick reaction guide and other required documentation) for security devices, security operations and other operations as required, with appropriate traceability to DoD, NSA, and/or NIST cybersecurity requirements
    • Ensure all technical standards are updated, maintained, and centrally located for distribution as needed.
    • Provide Tier III support for security related issues and recommendations on new hardware and software requests.
    • Track and report cybersecurity incidents to include, but not limited to, data spills and cross-domain violations
    • Report cybersecurity compliance metrics to the CITS USEUCOM Cybersecurity Manager and provide appropriate course-of-action for non-compliant systems 
    • Report cybersecurity concerns to the CITS USEUCOM Cybersecurity Manager and provide appropriate course-of-action recommendations 



    • A current active, in-scope Secret clearance, with ability to obtain TS/SCI
    • Must be able to obtain certification as a Technical Expert by the German Government under the Technical Expert Status Accreditation (TESA) process
    • DoD 8570 IAM level III compliance (e.g. CISSP, CASP etc)


    Minimum Educational Requirement:

    • High School Diploma with eleven (11) years IT experience OR, Associate's degree with seven (7) plus years of experience OR, a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of five (5) years of related experience


    Required Skills/Experience/Knowledge:

    • HBSS and ACAS Administration and Experience
    • Systems Administration (i.e. MCSE / RHCE) and/or Network Engineering (i.e. CCNP / CCNP-Security) experience
    • Experience writing TTP, SOP and CONOPS
    • Experience managing and coordinating across technical teams
    • Experience with CYBERCOM Task Orders Compliance Reporting
    • Experience with Incident Handling and Cyber Protection Command Cyber Readiness Inspection (CCRI) experience as a technology area representative
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

     Desired Skills:

    • Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) / eMASS
    • Experience Cyberscorecard / Cyberscope
    • Strong Writing and Presentation Skills
    • Project Management Skills

    Working Conditions

    The work is typically performed in an office environment, which requires normal safety precautions; work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes or equipment. The work location is a government facility located on a military installation in Stuttgart, Germany supporting a DoD customer.  The successful applicant will be working for and reporting directly to the prime contractor or the DoD customer as appropriate.
