Vykin Corporation is currently looking for an experienced Top Secret cleared, SCI eligible, Information Security Analyst to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. We are a small defense contracting company that is veteran owned servicing the US Department of Defense. Responsible for planning and implementation of security measures to protect information technology networks and systems. Works with customers, partners, stakeholders, and team members to develop and implement security procedures; troubleshoot problems; help to establish and implement policies and their conformance; coordinate activities of LAN support personnel, provide guidance on common networking issues. Assess vendor products; manage network performance, troubleshoot problems, and maintain network security.
Skills, knowledge and abilities:
The work is typically performed in an office environment, which requires normal safety precautions; work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes or equipment. The work location is a government facility located on a military installation in Honolulu, HI supporting a DoD customer. The successful applicant will be working for and reporting directly to the prime contractor or the DoD customer as appropriate.
