Vykin Corporation is currently looking for an experienced TS/SCI cleared Server Administrator to join our team in Tampa, FL. We are a small defense contracting company that is veteran owned servicing the US Department of Defense. Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012/2012/R2/2016, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.x and 7.x, CentOS 6.x and 7.x, and Oracle Solaris 10/11.
Experience with standardized builds that are remotely deployable, including using provisioning software to a bare metal server or virtual machine.
Experience implementing backup schedules and tape rotations.
Experience with enterprise COTS backup management solutions.
Experience implementing or operating Symantec Enterprise Vault solutions.
Experience implementing or operating Veeam.
Experience operating and maintaining VMWare ESXi 5.x or 6.x environments.
Experience managing servers and database availability groups for enterprise Microsoft Exchange deployments.
The work is typically performed in an office environment, which requires normal safety precautions; work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes or equipment. The work location is a government facility located on a military installation in Tampa, FL supporting a DoD customer. The successful applicant will be working for and reporting directly to the prime contractor or the DoD customer as appropriate.
