    Vykin Corporation is currently looking for an experienced Secret cleared, TS/SCI eligible Sr. SharePoint Engineer to join our team in Djibouti, Africa. We are a small defense contracting company that is veteran owned servicing the US Department of Defense. The successful candidate will receive competitive wages, health plans and the opportunity to join a small company that still believes every employee counts.


    The daily functions associated with this position include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Work directly with customers to assist in documenting requirements. 
    • Develop solutions that meet customer standards and policies.
    • Strictly adhere to established guidelines, processes, and procedures for development and design.
    • Effectively present technical information to all level of staff and senior leadership.
    • SharePoint Portal Service customization, and Portal migration
    • Tasker management, and dashboard/business intelligence visualization development.
    • Calendar management, and Content management.


    • Bachelor's degree in technology (or the equivalent years of related experience
    • Minimum of three (3) years demonstrated hands on SharePoint development and experience  developing InfoPath forms and SharePoint Designer work-flows
    • An active in-scope Secret clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance
    • DoD 8570 IAT Level II Compliant 
    • MCSE or VCP certification (or able to obtain within 6 mo. of hire)
    • Current, valid US Passport
    • Must be able to pass all pre-deployment requirements including a medical, dental, psychological, background, and security screens as deemed necessary to be considered deployable by the US military to enter into a hazard duty location.
    • Must be able to obtain all required immunizations deemed necessary by the contract. 

     Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

    • Strong knowledge and understanding of administration Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2013
    • Solid understanding of fundamentals and concepts in SharePoint, InfoPath, SharePoint Designer 2013 platforms and third party tools as MetaLogix and NINTEX
    • Develop solutions utilizing, but not limited, to jQuery, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, XML and XMLT meeting and documenting all to customer standards and policies
    • Experience with US government networks including Information Assurance (IA) and applying Security Technical Implementation Guidance (STIGs)
    • Provide technical expertise to customers at all levels of technical ability by assisting them with requirements' definition and providing organic and SharePoint 2013 environment solutions and complex workflows.
    • Experience with Source Control and SDLC development practices
    • InfoPath forms development and SharePoint Designer workflows HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, client-side object model (CSOM)
    • Microsoft Flow and Power Apps
    • Microsoft Server Administration, Active Directory and Virtualization (Hyper-V or VMWare)
    • PowerShell and DevOps
    • Requirements gathering and analysis
    • Ability to work a 60 hours per week work schedule
    • Willingness to work flexible hours.  Shift work or On Call Status may be required 
    • Understanding military courtesies 


    Working Conditions

    The work is typically performed in an office environment, which requires normal safety precautions; work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes or equipment.  

    The work location is a government facility located on a military installation in Djibouti, Africa supporting a DoD customer.  The successful applicant will be working for and reporting directly to the prime contractor or the DoD customer as appropriate.
