Vykin Corporation is currently looking for experienced Top Secret cleared (TS/SCI preferred) Senior Endpoint Security Engineers to join our team in Daegu, South Korea.  We are a small defense contracting company that is veteran owned servicing the US Department of Defense. The successful candidate will receive competitive wages, health plans and the opportunity to join a small company that still believes every employee counts.


The Senior Endpoint Security Engineers will support our Army team in a highly visible position, focused on product demonstrations, solution architecture, content development and product support.  The Engineers will be responsible for:

  • Design, delivery and maintenance of solutions.
  • Working with large and or enterprise customers in a wide range of functions including, but not limited to, product demos, solution architecture, content development, professional services and product support
  • Face-to-face customer engagement.
  • Act as a trusted adviser to the customer with the ability to identify issues and recommend solutions.
  • Translate complex, technical concepts into easily understood terms. 


Required Education, Experience, and Clearance:

  • Bachelors degree or the equivalent years of related experience
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in security, systems management, data centers, or enterprise software development to include:
    • Windows System Administration, Active Directory, SCCM
    • Endpoint security (Tanium is highly desired)
    • Managing, configuring, tuning and troubleshooting Windows strictly from a command line interface (CLI)
    • Security Management tools (i.e. McAfee, carbon black, Fireeye)
    • Scripting or programming in a variety of languages such as PowerShell, VBScript, WMIC, bash, Python and the ability to quickly learn and understand new scripting languages
    • Systems management tools (e.g. Chef, Puppet, Ansible) and/or Tanium
  • An active and in-scope background investigation
  • Top Secret security clearance with the ability to be sponsored for a TS/SCI


Required Skills:

  • Able to install and configure a variety of software solutions.
  • Comfortable across operating systems commonly found at large organizations.
  • Problem solving skills to analyze complex situations and use various commercial / open source tools to quickly resolve technical challenges.
  • Problem solver, collaborative and enjoy working in a team oriented group.
  • Able to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Process oriented and able to systematically work through customer requirements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.



  • TS/SCI security clearance
  • Security Breach incident response experience
  • Familiarity with common network technologies and associated protocols as well as database concepts, Major Operating Systems (e.g. Windows, Linux, MacOS),  virtualization solutions (VMware ESX), and Enterprise Software


Working Conditions
