Overview

Vykin Corporation is currently hiring an experienced Top Secret cleared SCI eligible SharePoint Administrator/Project Specialist to join our team in Stuttgart, Germany.  We are a small defense contracting company that is veteran owned servicing the US Department of Defense.  The successful candidate will receive competitive wages, health plans and the opportunity to join a small company that still believes every employee counts.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in all aspects of SharePoint site and server maintenance including requirements gathering, new site management, site migrations, patching and site upgrades.
  • Work with other team members, DBAs and infrastructure teams to evaluate business needs, design and manage end-to-end integration of new or existing systems, as well as provide technical guidance and support.
  • Understand engineering designs, server farms, SharePoint admin console, work with limited direction, and understand how multiple systems interact with each other on an Enterprise level.
  • Analyze and identify customer information system requirements for AFRICOM J6 related projects by designing or conducting analytical studies, cost-benefit analysis or other research germane to the assigned projects.
  • Participate with key Combatant Command officials in defining projects goals and coordinate preparation of a master plan for accomplishing goals.
  • Determine which phases of a project will be performed by other specialists or contractors.
  • Participate in design reviews.
  • Collaborate with other leaders to develop project schedules and plan resources; communicate with customers as to schedule progress while managing potential delays and risks.
  • Work with the customer to define and document customer requirements.
  • Create and manage team resources to ensure timely delivery of projects including requirements specifications, design documents, project plans, etc.
  • Interface regularly with other delivery teams providing complementary support for other efforts.

Qualifications

Minimum Educational Requirements:

  • High School Diploma with eleven (11) years of IT related experience, OR Associate's degree in with seven (7) plus years of IT related experience, OR Bachelor's degree in with 5 (five) plus years of IT related experience

 

Required:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience performing SharePoint administration on DoD Networks.
  • Active in-scope Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a SCI.
  • Must be able to obtain certification as a Technical Expert by the German Government under the Technical Expert Status Accreditation (TESA) process.

 

 

Qualifications (preferred):

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology or related discipline
  • Currently residing in Europe
  • ITIL-F v2/v3
  • Current MCTS or higher IT environment certification 
  • DoD 8570.01IAT level II (or higher) compliant
    • e.g. CompTIA Security+ CE, etc.
  • Recent experience supporting DoD networks/systems

Working Conditions

The work is typically performed in an office environment, which requires normal safety precautions; work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes or equipment. The work location is a government facility located on a military installation in Stuttgart, Germany supporting a DoD customer.  The successful applicant will be working for and reporting directly to the prime contractor or the DoD customer as appropriate.
