Vykin Corporation is currently looking for an experienced TS/SCI cleared Cyber Penetration Tester to join our team in Wiesbaden, Germany. We are a small defense contracting company that is veteran owned servicing the US Department of Defense. The successful candidate will receive competitive wages, health plans and the opportunity to join a small company that still believes every employee counts.


Member of a dedicated team focused on the development, operations and maintenance of specialized systems supporting the Defensive Cyberspace Operations Division (DCOD) Europe.

  • Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments against a broad range of targets, including Windows, UNIX, Linux, routers, firewalls, switches, and applications.
  • Work with the team to clearly define the scope of testing and the related rules of engagement.
  • Develop and execute a test plan, leveraging automated and manual testing methods to discover vulnerabilities and methods of exploitation.
  • Draft deliverable reports addressing testing methods and actionable findings and recommendations for mitigation strategies and for comprehensive security program improvements.



Minimum Educational Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology with a minimum of five (5) years of IT related experience


  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certifications (e.g. CompTIA Security+)
  • CNDSP certification (e.g. CEH or GCIH)
  • An active in-scope TS/SCI clearance
  • Must be able to obtain certification as a Technical Expert by the German Government under the Technical Expert Status Accreditation (TESA) process

Knowledge, Skills, & Experience:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience with performing penetration testing and risk assessments against computer networks.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience with penetration testing tools, including Burp, Nmap, Wireshark, Nessus, and Metasploit.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience with Perl, Python, or other scripting languages.
  • Knowledge of network protocols.
  • Knowledge of common vulnerabilities and related attack vectors.
  • Ability to brief technical and non–technical audiences on security threats, vulnerabilities, and risks.
  • Ability to perform analysis with close attention to detail and display solution orientation to learn and adapt quickly.
  • Ability to lead and serve a team to complete the mission and work well under pressure to rapidly scope and investigate incidents.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and analysis tools and operating systems, software, and security controls.
  • Ability to perform independent research and report on findings.
  • Ability to apply originality and creativity in problem solving.
  • Ability to be a self-starter, quick learner, and detail oriented.
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, to communicate effectively under normal and stressful situations.




  • BA or BS degree in Information Security, CS, or Cyber Security

Working Conditions
