Vykin Corporation is currently looking for an experienced TS/SCI cleared Cyber Threat Analyst to join our team in Wiesbaden, Germany. We are a small defense contracting company that is veteran owned servicing the US Department of Defense. The successful candidate will receive competitive wages, health plans and the opportunity to join a small company that still believes every employee counts.


Member of a dedicated team focused on the development, operations and maintenance of specialized systems supporting the Defensive Cyberspace Operations Division (DCOD) Europe.

  • Serve as an incident responder and first line of the customer's cyber defense, identifying and responding to security threats.
  • Responsible for planning and directing the customer's enterprise incident response operations.
  • Leverage knowledge of computer and network architecture to provide analysis during investigations identifying adversarial activity and methods for future detection and prevention. 
  • Participate in cyber defense exercise development, planning and participation. 
  • Conduct research and present options for improving enterprise cyberspace operations and systems development. 
  • Compose and present reports on findings to leadership for intrusion incidents. 



Minimum Educational Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technolog with a minimum of five (5) years of IT related experience


  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certifications (e.g. CompTIA Security+)
  • CNDSP certification (e.g. CEH or GCIH)
  • An active in-scope TS/SCI clearance
  • Must be able to obtain certification as a Technical Expert by the German Government under the Technical Expert Status Accreditation (TESA) process

Knowledge, Skills, & Experience:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience performing defensive cyberspace operations.
  • Experience with Army operational and exercise planning methodologies.
  • Knowledge of system administration, network engineering, and security engineering.
  • Knowledge of host and network log sources to apply to investigation, Incident Response methodology in investigations, and the groups behind targeted attacks and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
  • Ability to perform analysis with close attention to detail and display solution orientation to learn and adapt quickly.
  • Ability to lead and serve a team to complete the mission and work well under pressure to rapidly scope and investigate incidents.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and analysis tools and operating systems, software, and security controls.
  • Ability to perform independent research and report on findings.
  • Ability to apply originality and creativity in problem solving.
  • Ability to be a self-starter, quick learner, and detail oriented.
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, to communicate effectively under normal and stressful situations.




  • BA or BS degree in Information Security, CS, or Cyber Security


Working Conditions

The work is typically performed in an office environment, which requires normal safety precautions; work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes or equipment. The work location is a government facility located on a military installation in Wiesbaden, Germany supporting a DoD customer.  The successful applicant will be working for and reporting directly to the prime contractor or the DoD customer as appropriate.   The above job description is not intended to be, nor should it be construed as, exhaustive of all responsibilities, skills, efforts, or working conditions associated with this job.
