Vykin Corporation is currently looking for experienced, active in-scope TS/SCI cleared Senior Virtualization Engineer to join our team in Sterling, VA. We are a small defense contracting company that is veteran owned servicing the US Department of Defense. The role of a Senior Virtualization Engineer is to develop customized solutions to agency-unique issues and integrate them into the program environment. Perform virtualization of applications using App-V and XenApp, as well as other emergent technologies, tailor COTS solutions to provide enhanced functionality to meet agency-specific requirements, and find unique solutions to complex problems unique to a specific agency’s environment and requirements.
The work is typically performed in an office environment, which requires normal safety precautions; work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes or equipment. The work location is a government facility located on a military installation in Sterling, VA supporting a DoD customer. The successful applicant will be working for and reporting directly to the prime contractor or the DoD customer as appropriate.
